Commercial Description:
Craven Ale was first brewed in 2002 for a hostelry in nearby Craven Arms. However, it proved so popular that we now make it widely available. An attractive coloured beer with a pleasant hop aroma and a refreshing taste.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. An amber coloured beer with an unnecessarily sparkled white head. The aroma is really hard to discern through the sparkle. The taste is malty and creamy which to be fair comes through in the nose. Dull and unrefined, and not a million miles away from tasting like a nitrokeg bitter.
