Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, grass and pine. Flavour is malt, earthy, grass and pine. Thin body.

50cl bottle. Golden/clear brown with small head. Nose : flower and fruity aromas, ginger cookie. Sip : water like body with delicate oily texture. Light carbonation. Sweet bread and ginger cookie start. A bit sour and unpleasant aftertaste. Delicate bitter end with metallic notes.

Clear copper color with small white foam ring. Aroma is quite hoppy, so is taste. Nice bitter beer. Aftertaste is dry, wheaty. (Velp 201304)

500ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish colour with small head. Aroma is of hops, hap and grass. Tastes of hops and Malta but no complexity. Wouldn’t have again.

Bottle@Home. Orange, herbal, toffee aroma. Light amber, off-white head, fair lace. Caramel, herbal, sweet, bitter. Medium body. Bitter yes, hoppy no. Bit boring.

Bottle. Clear amber ale with a sweet, floral nose. Bittersweet with a soft elderflower and grapefruit taste. Short finish. Drinkable but not anything special.

Amber, clear and bright, sadly the head left before I had a chance to appreciate it (I hate that).
I expected the nose and taste to be Hoppy, but it certainly isn’t overly hopped: the main aroma being caramel and other semi-sweet malts, as is the taste. The Progress hops do give the beer a crisp hop finish but there are not enough of them to take over from the dominant malts within the brew.
I like malty beers and I enjoyed this, just thought it was going to be hoppy because of the name.

Bottle.Dark golden colour with small white head.Aroma of sweet carmel and butter light mouthfeels and crispy fresh taste,flavor of hops and slight herbs and light mild finish.

500 ml. bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour with a golden hue. Thin, bubbly off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, resin and citrus hops. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly bitter with resin hops, fruits and heather honey. An enjoyable bitter.
