COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Spring. Also available bottle conditioned all year.
Hopping Mad uses just one single hop variety, Progress, to achieve its appealing aroma, its pleasingly bitter taste and its delightful sparkle. We believe the result is uniquely enjoyable. So did the judges at the Beauty of Hops Awards, who awarded it a Silver Medal.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours dark amber with a small head. Slightly sour aroma. Feels kinda ‘off’. Cooked vegetables. Sourish flavour. Cereals. Seems infected, but it was alright according to the bartender. Oh well. 16-05-07.

Cask - Deep brown beautiful body with a small big bubbled head; Elegant balanced hoppy nose, hoppy fresh and malty sweet; Soft texture a bit thin body with a very little sharp carbonation; Long caramel warm finish, lots of aroma and a fine balanced bitterness. Great beer, although a bit strangely put together.

Cask @ The Wharf’s stand at CPH Beer Festival. Dark amber with white head. Very dimmed skunky english hops aroma. Bitter with an underlying floral english hop flavor. Under averages for style.

Bottle. A dark orange colour, poured with a large head. Plenty of fruity aromas. Nice flavours with a sweet finish. The problem with Woods beer you either like or you dont. A reasonable beer to me.

Bottle. Orange/brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, hop. Flavour is fruit, hop, malt, sweet. Not my kind of beer.

500 ml bottle. Hazy dark orange body with a rather small white head. Relatively vague hoppy aroma, but delicate. Flavor is rather bitter with a nice malty sweetness. Medium body. A nice but rather plain hoppy ale that improves after a few more sips. Interesting and a bit different.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned. Hazy golden brown colour, moderate head. Unusual sweetish aroma, jam, cooked vegetables, hay. Malty flavour with a noticeable sweetness, some caramel and fruit, and a distinct "bite" from the Progress hops in the finish and aftertaste. Not bad at all!
