COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Spring. Also available bottle conditioned all year.
Hopping Mad uses just one single hop variety, Progress, to achieve its appealing aroma, its pleasingly bitter taste and its delightful sparkle. We believe the result is uniquely enjoyable. So did the judges at the Beauty of Hops Awards, who awarded it a Silver Medal.

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange, lemon, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (040907)

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is subdued fruity and mild caramel malt. Flavour holds a mild fruity note to a classic medium sweet caramel malt. Goes into more orange fruity finish with a slowly building bitterness. Ends dry,

An amber beer with an OK, but disappearing white head. The aroma is weird with spices and hop notes, doesn’t the weirdness come from the Progress hops? The flavor is very hoppy and very weird with a dry end. I wonder if it is the Progress hops, that makes this beer weird?

Brown-orange. Thin, sour. Tastes like a bad extract home brew.

Hamilton Hall Spoons. Light palate, pretty dry. Astringent hops - dry bitterness dominates. The fruit, when you get to it, is orange with a little mango. Dry bitter finish with minerals.

Cloudy light amber color. Light hop aroma, and malt. Thin mouthfeel, some malt, caramel, hop, light liquorice. Bold bitterness, but not enough aromatic. Disappointing.
