Cask handpull at County Hotel Ashford. Copper colour slight haze lasting cream head. Yes quite a hoppy bitter. In fact the hops are excellent. Very good butter that is bitter and hoppy. Nice. Could do with a bit more backbone but it has some ok bischit and that finishing hop us fresh and biting. Good

De Bierkoning, Amszterdam.
Szép, világos vörösréz színe van, tetején egy közepes, tejszínhab szerűen krémes habbal, ami hamar vékonnyá válik, de az végig kitart. Illata fás, élesztős, kissé zöldséges és zöld komlós. Íze vajas, zöld körtés, gyümölcsös, malátás, gyógynövényes, amin lassan teljesen eluralkodik a kesernyés komló. Vékony teste van de nem tűnik vizesnek, közepesen buborékos. Utóíze gyümölcsös, határozottan keserű és igen száraz. Most egy jó kis házi pizza után, igen jólesik, szinte érzem, hogy tépi szét a bőven adagolt, zsíros holland sajtokat a gyomromban. Kellemes.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours a lightly hazy gold with a creamy, off-white cap. Creamy malt nose with hints of toast and caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor with notes of toffee, , light toast, some leafy and dirty bitters. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Mild sweet toffee finish with lasting light grassy and leafy hops. Nice beer.

Cask conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Hoppy aroma, straw and unusual fennel. Dryly malty with moderate hoppy finish which had a slight rasping quality on an already sore throat - making it seem hoppier than it was.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Nice but a little soapy. Heavy bitter fantastic flavor. Quite woody!. Long bitter finsh. Creamy and dry palate. Wonderfull ESB.
