This was good with my salad. It was light and I was thirsty and it went down smoothly with a pleasant maltiness.

appearance bears the name..golden. Light sugar, burnt sugar, the yeast has some nice aroma giving off. hard to explain but it smells pretty nice. Taste is pretty sweet. that fades fast, it’s not a bad beer, I get banana, some lemon, light graham cracker but the whole thing doesn’t meld together.

A very unique golden ale. Aroma of sweet apple vinegar, but not an appley flavor. Somewhat buttery... Pours yellow-golden with a faint head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance- Pale golden with while head that disappeared quickly Aroma- A very subtle flowery aroma T/P- very light and crisp, a well balanced beer every so slight malty after taste Overall- Very drinkable, felt good after a long day working in the yard. All in an all an above average beer. It would not be bad for an everyday beer.

Deep gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet, lightly herbal. Medium bodied. Flavor is a bit bland. Sweet malts, a touch of hop, and light herbal notes. Too much residual sweet malts to make this a refresher.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Pours clear dark gold with white head. Nuts, straw and molasses in the nose, mildly sweet and malty. Light body, oily texture, long grainy finish.

BOTMC selection. Slightly darker golden with nice white head, leavings some lacing. Candy sweet malt nose, too sweet. Flavor is muddled, a bit unclean. hop flavor and bitterness collide and don’t mix well, malt is lost. Malt is mild and overwhelmed. Finish is sloppy.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with diacetyl and a bit of floral hops. Sweetish flavor, a bit buttery, with some malt and a bitter finish, a bit weird and unpleasant, with fruity and floral notes and some graininess. Medium-bodied. Not so good.

12 oz. Bottle from Beer of the Month Club, June 2012. A decent, yet average, golden ale. Grain pilsener-like scent. Clear potent gold, beautiful and bright, pour with a foamy head quickly going down to film and a white ring. Light bodied, crisp texture. Light fruit flavor up front in the, then a solid grain flavor, like saltine crackers without the salt, and a slight vinous note in the finish.
