Bottle from Cavie. Very clear amber pour with a small white head. Aroma is musty, old malts, and some hops. Taste is a little bitter, caramel, a little nutty, and inoffensive.

Bottle. Pours a clear light orange color with a bubbly white head. Aroma is very hoppy upfront with hops, pine, and sweet sap. Flavor is dry and hoppy. Sweet notes and pine that have a bit of sharpness. Not bad.

Amber pour from bottle. Aroma is a bit earthy and dull. Taste is a dash of malt, a dash of hops and not too much else. Not horrible, but not too exciting either.

12 oz bottle from a coworker. Poured a reddish amber body with a few large bubbles and a small to average sized foamy white head. Aroma is lots of caramel, grains, toffee and a touch of citrus rind. The body is painfully thin with bubbly carbonation and a very watery feel. Flavor similar to the aroma minus the citrus rind, basically all malt. This one actually gets better once you get used to the watery body but still not that good.

12 oz bottle (thanks again to Pam). Pretty similar fair to their amber here. The pour was a bit nicer with a more enticing soapy white head, and bright orange-red body. A fairly hoppy aroma with some woody notes and mixed citrus. Also, some cereal grains, light caramel, and that same slightly off motor oil note. Some carbonation in the body of this one, but it has a fairly soapy feel overall. Citrus, toasted cereal grains, and herbal notes in the flavor. Again, average.

This is a lighter pale ale, but in a good way. Some brief decent hop up front, then a light clean beer after that. Done look for this as a Stone alternative, it doesn’t have the balls or body to it, but it’s a light refreshing beer that has some good hop to it.

Bottle pours a translucent amber/orange. Nose is buttery and slightly fruity. The initial butterscotch burst unmasks a grapefruit like dry hop bite. Has a toasted biscuit flavor as well. The combined flavor work really well together. This is like a pale ale/ IPA hybrid. This beer has its own unique character which I like!

Medium pale, medium head. Plenty of hop flavor and aroma, with nice bitterness level. From my Beer of the Month Club.
