3.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Hard to believe all this came from a bottle, and from a pale ale. Lots of flavor and depth and staying clear of an IPA finish. Would leave Vermont for this Brewery, only to be called back by Ben and Jerry’s and Cabot Cheese free tastings.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Last beer from Eric.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange with a tinge of glossiness over the color. The head was about a finger’s worth of white foaminess that once it dissipated there was some light stringy speckled lacing here and there.
The smell started off with a light citrus hops and then had a fair amount of caramel malts with a slight herbal quality to them.
The taste was semi-sweet and then lead to a slight bland hay/almost dried and toastiness over and all about.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was subdued but still somewhat decent for the style.
Overall, for the most part, this one isn’t a bad APA, its just an average one to me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz. bottle. Pours dark copper. Think old penny, with a 2 finger tan head that lingered longer than I wanted it to. All Woodstock Inn bottled beers seem to have a distinctive "pop" when opened then, large slowly receding heads. Just an observation. Aroma is heavy on the malt, light on the hops. Taste is the same. Medium bodied. Ok. Wasn’t expecting much, and it didn’t disappoint.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Got this in a multipack, nothing here but sweet. Did they forget to add hops? I may have to blend the other two bottles with something biting just to get through them.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz. bottle. Bronze / copper color with small fast disappearing head. Aroma of grain and a wisp of pine. Flavor is sweet grain, butter and a dead hop that wants to be pine. It really, really wants to be pine. Thin watery body with a diacetyl finish. Well thankfully I had this at a buddy’s house, so I didn’t pay for it. Below average.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a pretty orangish rusty color, unfiltered. Off white head that diminishes pretty quickly. Not much lacing. Smell is caramel, citrus and mild hops. Taste is nice, caramel notes with pineapple and a mildly bitter hop profile. Aftertaste slightly bitter and citrusy. To me this is quite a bit better than the majority of the ratings I've read.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Pours a very clear copper color with small white head. Faint aroma of sweet caramel malt and a light citrus hops aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt, slightly grainy with a light grapefruit hop touch. Lighter body with moderate prickly carbonation.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
A - Pours a clear amber with a big bubbled small head. No lacing.
S - Citrus with a kind of rotten buttery diacetyl. Some toffee malt underneath
T - Bitter orange with butter diacetyl. Some strawberry and cherry fruit. Herbal mint comes through towards the and and finishes with sweaty socks and grain like aftertaste.
M - Medium carbonation, slightly prickly.
Well this might of had potential to be a nice APA, but unfortunately the diacetyl is heavy handed and takes over most of the flavors. Pretty bad.
