16oz at the Brewpub. Amber brown with a short lived head. Malty and sweet with a medium body. A light to moderate amount of hop bitterness in the back of the mouth and in the finish. Smooth drinking and enjoyable. Decent.

This is the second solid brew I’ve had of woodstock. Deep red pour, heavy creamy crown. Smell is pure malt, candy, a bit of spice. Taste is the same, with caramel added. Smooth, and sweet. Somewhat thin, and would be higher rating if it weren’t so. Got it in summer mixed pack.

Medium bodied amber color with a medium head and just a little bit of lace. Rich, malty flavor with some spices mixed in. Slightly bitter at the end. Malty aroma too with malts dominating here.

This beer pours a hazy amber with nice laceing and decent head retention. There is a woody and roasted toffee smell. There is a strong bite in the begining with wood flavors and bitter hopps. The after taste mildly hoppy and sweet.

Bottle with an expiration date of Oct 07. Pours a caramel-red. It is a very nice color. The aroma is strong with malts and even a tad fruity. Smooth feeling in the mouth but a little on the bitter side. Still, it tastes pretty close to most of the reds I’ve had.

This beer reminds me alot of rickards red without the notes of spice. Pours a standard amber ale amber colour with a white head that disolves into some decent lacing. Aroma of malty caramel and hops with light notes of grain. Flavours are well balanced with sweet malt upfront and a touch of hop bitterness in the finish, really basic and straight forward but well done a good meal beer just like Rickards Red. Goes good with barbecued chicken.

Pours an amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, and floral hops. Initial taste sweet malts and fruity hops. Finishing with malt character and slight bitterness.
