Cider and toffee aroma with some floral hop. Pours clear copper with a fizzy tan head. Decidely sweet. Again with strong toffee and apple character. Some bitterness on the finish. Thin body. A little cloying.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes recently found.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a decent looking amber to red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about less than a minute. There was some light lacing.
The smell had a decent roasted apple of sorts gracing between some English malts.
The taste took those flavors to town and made it semi-sweet but it really felt and tasted really like a true English ESB.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light, but tried to show a semi-medium of sorts on the body. It was fairly sessionable and had a decent carbonation running about it.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good ESB worth trying. If anything, this honestly went really well with BBQ pork. Damn, what a mighty fine day that was!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer pours a red amber with nice a head. There is a strong taste at first but then balances out. The after taste feels sweet. A very tasty amber ale.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Malty, nutty aroma with a little skunk. Flavor is malty and nutty and unfortunately slightly skunked, with some bittering hops in the finish. Decent but pretty standard red ale.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is malty, quite a bit of caramel, light oxidation notes, peppery hops. Taste is sweet, malty/caramel with a decent bitter finish. Pretty typical american amber. Decent.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Pours a deep clear amber color with a thin light tan head. Aroma is vaguely roasty, sweet, somewhat nutty and bready. Flavor is much the same, with a nice pale malt sweetness, touched with a bit of roasty bittersweetness and breadiness. Body is a little thin, with moderate carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Beer of the month club. Pours a pretty red color with small quickly receding head. Sweet fruit aroma with lits of malt and a bit of a buttery tone. Flavor is malty sweet up front, followed by buttery floral taste, and ends with some bitter. A little metallic flavor takes away from things. Easy drinking with plenty of carbonation. Ok beer, but nothing I would seek out.

Slightly sweet grain/corn scent, clear copper color. Taste is neutral, a bit crisp and gassy, slight bit of sweetness, spice, malt. Not bad, just plain.
