changeup45 (557), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 13, 2008 Medium bodied amber color with a medium head and just a little bit of lace. Rich, malty flavor with some spices mixed in. Slightly bitter at the end. Malty aroma too with malts dominating here.

Nutty aroma with plenty of strawberry mixed in with grapefruit hops. Clear chestnut with wispy white swirls and ring. Nutty and lemony flavour with a touch of biscuity toast and notes of pear. The bitterness and nuttiness work together well also. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, nutty bitter finish. Excellent. djones (60), Michigan, USA Aug 4, 2008 16oz at the Brewpub. Amber brown with a short lived head. Malty and sweet with a medium body. A light to moderate amount of hop bitterness in the back of the mouth and in the finish. Smooth drinking and enjoyable. Deep red pour, heavy creamy crown. Smell is pure malt, candy, a bit of spice. Taste is the same, with caramel added. Smooth, and sweet. Somewhat thin, and would be higher rating if it weren’t so. Got it in summer mixed pack.
