Shazbat (100), USA Mar 5, 2001 Eh, I guess if you like this sorta thing its okay, but I’m not a fan of these light beers.
VTHopHead (666), Barre, Vermont, USA May 26, 2008 Draft at the brewpub - Poured a golden amber in color with a small white head that faded quickly. Not much for aroma... some malts, slight hops. Flavor was also not that strong. Slightly bitter on the finish. Pretty unremarkable... jjpm74 (2878), Connecticut, USA Oct 27, 2007 Fresh growler. Pours yellow and hazy with a small white head. Smells of wheat and some maple with hints of dough. Tastes of wheat, some bubblegum, and some hints of sweetness. Pretty middle of the road. puboflyons (369), New Hampshire, USA Sep 13, 2007 Updated: Mar 18, 2008From a growler!!! Smelled and looked a lot like a macro with a golden-yellow pour and a minimal off-white head that disolves fast. Brewed with maple syrup they say and immediately I notice a kind of smooth, slick texture on my tongue. I don’t notice much in the line of a maple syrup flavor. But it goes down fairly smooth with a hint of bitterness and a dry finish. Not a horrible light beer but nothing extraordinary about it. Not available in stores at this time and can only be purchased at the brewpub. (Rating #1129) DarkMagus (412), San Jose, California, USA Jul 8, 2006 Couldn’t detect much of anything by way of aromas... other than a slight hint of hop/malt. Flavors were surprisingly hoppy (considering I had ordered a wheat beer/hefeweizen). Fruity, citrusy, HOPPY... I might have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t been expecting a hefeweizen. It was basically a random ale that was called a wheat beer. Not entirely pleasant.
