Sampled from bottle at the Woodstone Creek Winery and Distillery tasting room... Woodstone Creek Crowne Amber is another Woodstone Creek exclusive honey port aged with medium toast French Oak. However, this one is spiced unlike the Woodstone Creek Legacy. It is a pale, almost watery yellow color, clear, and still. The aroma is much like that of Drambuie (sweet, spicy, hints of well-aged citrus) with some oakiness. The flavor begins very sweet and syrupy, then there is some alcohol, and finishes with a combination of sweet and dry.
