Woodstone Creek Mead is a still mead. It is a yellowish copper color and clear. It is made with Kentucky Goldenrod honey which is evident in the modestly sweet honey aroma. The flavor showcases the honey, but it isn’t overly sweet or just honey-like in flavor as there is a dry white wine like taste as well. It finishes a little dry. Overall this is a semi-sweet mead that has a nice level of dryness and isn’t too heavy on the palate (the body is medium light). A very well done mead.
