World of Beer and Bavik have partnered to create a collaborative release exclusive to World of Beer -- C’est La Vie! The beer is based off of the Petrus Tripel, and then dry hopped with Sapphir hops. Made with 100% Belgian grown hops, C’est La Vie! has a unique hop character not normally seen with Belgian beer. This beer was made to be approachable by the most novice of beer consumers, as well as provide a unique and complex experience for the most experienced beer consumer. C’est La Vie! is dry hopped with Belgian grown Sapphir hops. It has a bright golden color, a floral hop aroma, and since it is dry hopped with Sapphir hops, it has a pronounced floral character with some citrusy notes. The alcohol content is approximately 7.4% ABV.

Hazy gold. Nose of herbal citrus and light Belgian esters. Flavor is buttery wheat malt, herbal hopping, and mild Belgian yeast character. Lightly dry, buttery finish.

Keg at World of Beer Charlottesville. Slightly hazy golden, large creamy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of candi sugar, bread, herbal hops. The taste is citrus, herbal, green hops, bready malt, apples, mild caramel and nuts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness and spice, low carbonation.

Fruity aromas, apple, some stonefruit, white grape, subtle spice. Hazy yellow-orange, mostly lasting white head. Fruity, a little sweet, hop notes are existent but not as aromatic as I prefer in a dry-hopped option. Medium bodied.

World of beer DEN... Pours cold, lotta foam. Aroma is mellow. Foamy head stays like whip cream. Mostly clear yellow to look at. First sip bubbly, a little sweet. Not a great Belgium. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An aroma of sweet apple with a floral touch. Appears pale yellow. Tastes like mildly sweet apple with a balancing hay-grassy bitterness. Mildly fizzy, kind of ordinary. Overall, good.

Tap. Straw gold. Great Belgian lace. No discernible nose even when warm. Hops trump any Belgian yeast or candi sugar. More like a Belgian pale?
