2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Biggish very white lasting creamy head. Chestnut brown body. Meaty linoleum aroma. Dryish-sweetish caramelly meaty taste with nutty notes. Mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish nutty roasted almonds and plastic aftertaste. Lacks bitterness and character, plus some off tastes, and not a lot of on tastes. Did not enjoy very much. (0.5l can, Tesco’s, London.)

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nitrocan. Slightly orange amber, clear, typical nitro head. Soft malt nose. Palate is on the watery side with some caramel and a mildly bitter finish. Decent enough, but nothing stands out.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can. Light amber, lovely head. Nearly tasteless. A can that talks of "hoppy aromas and fruity undertones" shows that their own marketing people must be drinking another beer!

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2006 May, 2003:Airport bar, Blackpool. Nitro keg. Acceptable drink to wash down a tuna sandwich while waiting for a delayed flight. Mild bitter finish of no distinction. [1.5]
May, 2005 Drunken Sailor, Chatham Campus. Fruity and malty and carboardy. Fatter and more flavour than a pale lager. An ok drink, even with the off flavours. No nitro cream - probably run out of gas. [2.3]
