Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to light moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (020508)

[Bottle conditioned] A hazy amber beer with a small off-white head. The aroma contains quite a bit of alchol, but also some hops. The flavor is powerful with strong notes of alcohol, caramel, and bitter hops. The end is quite bitter.

From cask. Pours clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and crisp hoppy. Lingering fruity, mild sweet and crisp citrusy to peachy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Unusual aroma of exotic fruit and fruit bubblegum. Medium body with sweet, exotic fruit accents and some caramel and licorice. The finish is dry. Very different but quite lovely. 120208

Bottled (BBE 11/2007)@The White Horse, Parsons Green. Amber colour, big fluffy beige head. Aroma is wood, parfume, some earth and quite strong cardboardy and rubbery notes. Flavour is raisins, sweet malts, some grass and mild wooden notes. Flavour ruined about being too old, but the flavour had turned out quite interesting.

[Cask at GBBF] Amber colour. Heavily resiny. Sweetish and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Astringent very resiny bitter finish. Unrefined, but certainly sticks out.

Bottle. Copper colour with a longlasting off-white head. Malty fruity aroma, hints of dark fruits. Malty caramel, coffee flavor. Long malty aftertaste.

Cloudy amber color; compact head, lively bottle. Basic but quite nice hoppy aroma. Some malt, pretty strong hopping, strong flavor, some resins. Good example.

Cask, 5.6% at GBBF08. Dark amber colour, OK frothy white head. Vinous flavour, dusty, malty, with some alcohol. Distinct bitterness which goes fine with the malty notes
