Fulton Worthy Adversary with Maple and Vanilla

On tap at the Muddy Pig (St. Paul, Minnesota, 20/2/13)
Poured a dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is overwhelmingly sweet - almost all vanilla and maple. Taste is also very sweet, but I remember remarking that the bitterness from the hops seemed a bit out of place. The fusion was too dessert-oriented for them to do this one any favors. I wish Fulton would have toned the maple down just a little bit; it got a bit sticky towards the end.
