Clean, crisp and refreshing. A tribute to our friends at Indie Hops, this amazingly balanced beer is bursting with the finest hops Oregon has to offer: Nugget, Centennial, Meridian, Crystal and Horizon. Renowned for his IPAs, Chad just raised the bar.

Mostly clear copper under a thin foamy white head. Nose is weird, like tropical mango mixed with some aroma that reminds me of an aquarium. The flavor fares a bit better with fresh tropical juiciness like seeds of paradise and guava and mango, maybe some cantaloupe as well, with a gentle piney bitterness throughout with a caramell-ish sweetness supporting it. Ends a bit funny though with a bittersweet tone of earthy papaya and basil. Just a little disjointed.

I had a bunch of this from a palís tap. Itís fairly unremarkable but not bad either. It seems sweet for the style, pretty chill hops wise as well. It has a nice smooth mouth feel on her and goes down easy, itís big white head sitting on the olí moustache. More of a Pale, it needs to take a trip to India and come back worthy of the title. There are better IPAs in Bend but this one will still make you smile.

ACHops (754) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 11, 2014
On tap @ Chuckís 85th. Pours bright light orange with very thin white head. Aroma is oaky, earthy caramel malt with a hint of hop spiciness. Taste is somewhat muddled caramel malt, lightly sweet; with harshly bitter hops on the back. Some notes of pine and dank grass on the hops, not enough flavor to overcome the sharp bitterness though. Not a standout IPA, but better than previous ratings would suggest.

Can. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small white head on it. Nose is nice and floral with some light citrus to it. Taste is moderately bitter and smooth, but the hops taste like they are just starting to turn a bit.

Bomber, poured light amber with a white foam that disappeared almost as soon as it was poured. A little hoppy but not too overpowering, although I think I would have been happy if it had been a little more commanding. Pine and fruity (apple! yum!) comes through on a medium body, finishing on the bitter side and clearing quickly. No lingering impression, really. A good IPA, basic and okay for an everyday beverage. Nothing really spectacular, but would definitely pick this for those that are afraid of an IPA. Best of both worlds.

CanA: Placid gold, foamy white head. Lacing.N: Pot, pineapple, spruce/pine, earth and biscuit. Not the most astounding nose, but it?s acceptable.T: Bitter and citrusy. Sweet in a bread type way. Tart.M: sticky, medium body, and drying.O: A worthy beer, but it doesn?t have any standout characteristics, thus falling to the middle of the pack.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a amber topped with a fluffy sand head. Nose is pine citrus and some cereal. Taste is more citrus than pine with a touch of caramel sweetness.

69 IBU. Not bad. Not great. Poured from a 12oz can into a frozen pint glass. golden color, very transparent. very little head. Slightly hopy but no real lasting maltiness or bitterness. Not a bad IPA. But definitely doesnít stand out either.

Bright amber color with lasting ivory sheen. Spicy, mild dank, earthy hop aromas. Medium bodied. Nice fruity, floral hop flavors with dry cracker maltage____dusty finish___good.
