Clean, crisp and refreshing. A tribute to our friends at Indie Hops, this amazingly balanced beer is bursting with the finest hops Oregon has to offer: Nugget, Centennial, Meridian, Crystal and Horizon. Renowned for his IPAs, Chad just raised the bar.

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer’s in Beaverton, OR. Crystal clear pour. Aroma is sweet, floral, piney, resinous, and a bit fruity, with hints of caramel and grass. Amazing! Perfect crisp mouthfeel with a gentle and balanced bitter bite in the finish. Perfectly sweet and bitter from start to finish. One of the best non-Imperial IPA on the market, IMO. Damn, these guys can brew.

Poured from a 22oz bottle. This is a classic Northwest IPA. Has a piney-sweet aroma and a great ’in your face’ hop bite. This beer has a great balance to it and the sweet-bitter finish is just great!

22 oz. bottle. Rather clear gold with active carbonation. Aroma is grassy, dank weed and dry hay bale.

The flavor is the identical to the aroma. Large dankness and grassy farmhouse hay. Bitterness is in the finish but only lingering very lightly. For a single IPA this actually really nice bitterness as it warmed. The bitterness and malt is balanced pretty well, light hints of fruit. Finish is real clean. Nice drinker.

Bottle from Joe’s. Clear gold with lasting head and lotsa lace. Citrus and floral aroma with a touch of soap and bread. Tropical fruit honey grainy mild sweetness with assertive grapefruit rind bitter dry finish with just a hint of sweetness. Medium light body. Not sure why the low ratings. Pretty excellent.

Love canned IPAs. This one is 10 weeks old - a little outside my normal window, but for $1.59, there was little risk. Turns out there was none. I’d like to have one fresh since at 2.5 months old the aroma and flavor were still quite nice. Floral and piney aroma and flavor, with some tropical fruit and moderate bitterness. Clean finish

Decent hoppy nose, orange, pineapple. Fruity malt, citrus hops, dry pine, bitter grapefruit finish. Not bad, average canned citrus IPA

Tap @ Flying Pie: clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of juniper, celery, and grass. Ok flavors lacking something. A little too citrusy with a tinny aftertaste. Average IPA.

Bottle brought over by my Stateside buddy on his last UK visit. Poured a deep golden, with a thin white head and some lacing. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and melon. Bready malt flavour, with some tinned fruit and grapefruit hops. Finish was resin, peal and biscuity malt.

On-tap at Roundhouse Taproom in SoHo, Central.

Cloudy hazy golden honey colour with no yeast sediments; One and a quarter finger head and crumpety white foam which lasted for 3 minutes; Very sticky lacing and near zero carbonation; Nice sweet aroma of light Ale malt, with very strong lime, honey, floral, pineapple and very light pine; Close to light sweet taste of light Ale malt, with pineapple, refreshing citrus, light honey, pine, yeast, biscuits, bitter hops and sharp grass; Close to light body. Watery and light piney palate; Mouth feel is very refreshing with tropical fruit tastes abound, even for a light session ale. Solid bitter hops. Light and nice… Hoppiness is light floral and tropical fruit in nose. Light pine and refreshing grapefruit zest in taste. Bitterness is sharp, hoppy and strong for a lasting bitter finish; hops for a lasting strong bitter finish; Fairly dry after taste. Fruity and quite bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one’s a nice session IPA with pineapple twist: very fruity with light and refreshing tropical fruits, very suitable for summer quaffing. Really nice!

On tap at the Roundhouse, Hong Kong, Pours hazy deep gold, white head. Nose is grape, papaya. Flavour has a kick - papaya, pine, lemon spritz. Average bitterness, balances well with the pale malt with a spritzy kick.
