COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clean, crisp and refreshing. A tribute to our friends at Indie Hops, this amazingly balanced beer is bursting with the finest hops Oregon has to offer: Nugget, Centennial, Meridian, Crystal and Horizon. Renowned for his IPAs, Chad just raised the bar.

Can. Pours a crisp translucent gold-orange with minimal head but long watery lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, wet grassy hop, a bit of grainy malt. Taste is bitter and resinous hop with a small bit of phenolic spice to it. Palate is watery - wish it were a bit thicker. Otherwise a nice flavourful IPA that belies its surprisingly low rating.

Deep golden pour. Really nice aroma of fruity and resiny hops. Fresh crisp bitterness with lots of good hoppy flavor - pine, resin, and a bit of apple and other bright fruit. Not sure why the ratings are so low, this is a really solid IPA.

12oz can pours a light amber color with a medium off white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of tropical and floral hops, citrus, and pine. Tastes the same as the nose. Mouthfeel is slick and mildly creamy with good carbonation and a semi dry finish. Decent for a northwest style ipa but nothing special. Kind of bland especially for all the different hops used.

Can:   Moderate example, a little citrus peel, pith, with a touch of earthiness.   Smooth, decent body, but could stand to be sweeter.   Otherwise clean, full of flavor, but not as bright as I would have liked.   Needs some sweet floral or citrus bits to really make it shine.   As is, decent.

Can from Beer Thirty, Boise Clear light golden with a big dense off white head. Mild hop aroma. Subtle balance hop and light malt flavors. More of a pale ale. A bit too tame for an IPA. Not bad though otherwise

Can from 99 Bottles (Federal Way, WA). Light little citrus nose. Hazy amber color. Some grapefruit, thick caramel, final goes mildly bitter and then balances. Medium body. Okay, Sweetish. Minimal hopping for the style.

On tap at Darby's. Pours a clear copper with minimal to no cap. Aroma is a sweet citrus up front, but a swirl or 4 releases a sticky pine and strong caramel, with a touch of metallic qualities. Taste is on the higher side of sweet, with a slight bitterness quality. Medium carbonation and a faint dry finish.

On tap at St Augustine’s, pours a somewhat hazy golden with a small tan head. Aroma brings out resinous and piney hops, some candied notes, and toffee. Flavour is very similar, bringing out a more malted balanced of notes, with toffee, candied sugar and resinous hops. Finishes both slightly sweet and astringent. No where near as masterful as their imperial IPA. Decent, but too malted for me.

Few pints at a sports bar in S.Salem last weekend. $3 pint( probably a cheater pint). Lighter orange colour for an IPA with a large white bubbly/frothy head. Cant remember much about the aroma, but it was pleasant enough. Good lighter tasting IPA but generously hopped..went down a treat . Mouth feel was fine enough for style. Good drinkable IPA better then their Imperial IPA.
