COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the world of craft beer, SMaSH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. We brewed this special beer to celebrate Central Oregon Craft Beer Week. For the malt, we selected Oregon-grown barley malt from the Klamath basin and hopped it up with Oregon’s Indie Hops very own variety - Meridian. You’ll find this a very refreshing strong pale ale that’s perfect for celebrating the craft beers of Central Oregon. • OG 11.6 • TG 1.4 • 5.4% ABV • 65 IBUs • SRM 5 Malt: Klamath Basin two row Hops: Meridian Color: Light and Golden

Draft. Worthy Brewery. COD tasting night - Dale Crawford. I damn near sent this beer back it looks so unappealing. light milky, cloudy yellow. Almost like a spoiled hef. However, don’t let the appearance fool you. This is a good beer. 50 IBUs...not bad at all for experimental pale. I ordered a second pint before I left the brewery.

On draught at roscoes - pours cloudy golden with small head that quickly dissipates. Nose of grass and grain. Taste is light citrus, grain, and bitter grass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sold to me as a Single Hop IPA - an experiment which I always enjoy. Asked the waitress which hop was used (as it was not provided on the menu or elsewhere) - she had no idea. Turns out she didnt really know what hops are. Despite the small hop farm outside the brewery. Not to mention the brewery logo. WELL anyhoo - it was about as average as the other beers here. Hard time taking notes keeping a toddler from running around the dining room. Wrote "ho-hum" and that about sums up my experience here as well as every beer they had available brewed by this facility.

Tap at Worthy, Bend, 23/05/13. Very lightly hazed blonde with a thin white head. Nose is fresh hops, punchy citrus notes, lemon rind, light grass. Taste comprises hops, lemon, light grapefruit, orange pith, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp in the execution with light hop bitterness. Decent enough APA.
