Our 2nd generation Kolsch uses the lightest German Koln and Heidelberg malts available. Just enough hops for balance and brew water adjusted to match Koln, resulting in a very light crisp beer.

Good kolsch. Clear gold pour with white head. Aroma is malt and yeast. Taste follows nose. Good hot weather beer.

Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma and taste of clean pale malts with a hint of fruity clean yeast, mild hop presence. A solid kolsch, definitely something I’d like to drink outside.

Nice, easy drinking kolsch. Amber pour with good head and lacing. Great barley profile and a little butter. Crisp finish with hint of tang. Tap at brewpub.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden colored brew with a small white head. The aroma is full of malt and grain . The taste is malt driven with some bread flavoring on the back end. This is a good beer.

Golden pour. Grainy, a tad sweet, mild hops at the end. Fair enough for the style.

On tap @ Wrecking Bar. Golden colored beer with some white foam. Sort of grainy and estery on the nose...maybe even a hint of banana as well as some apple. Slight pear, too. The flavor is a bit more malt focused and has a light grassy hop character, some toast, and crackery malt. Still some ester qualities and a bit sweet, but overall not bad.

Great example of a Kolsch. Crystal clear yellow with large white pure white head. Very carbonated aroma of sweet light malts with a touch of hops. Flavor of light malts and super crisp with noble hop finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Yellow, clear, with a ring of foam. Smells bready, toasty, with a subtle fruit note. Taste is Pretty much the same, but with maybe the fruity sweetness is a bit more pronounced. Not bad.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Soft grain on the nose, crisp and sweet. Medium bodied, grainy and sweet, crisp and with a light citrus hint. Finishes with a touch of sweetness, malt and grain. Easy drinking.

A good kolsch is a great beer and this is a good kolsch. Wonderful peppery hops over a dry malt. I’d totally stock this for football drinking if it were legal in this state.
