COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
County Clare is on the west coast of Ireland and “dearg” is Gaelic for red. No hop bitterness or flavor and very light in body, making it a very “sessionable” beer even though it is 6.6% alcohol. Faint hints of buttered toast, caramel, and toffee from the malts and yeasts. Sláinte!

On tap at the brewpub ages ago. Toasty grain with a burned bread and nutty flavor. Pours a delicious looking deep red. Caramel and toffee. Tasty drink. Finish is a little bit of a grassy hop profile.

Cloudy red orange color with off white head. Musky aroma with hints of red fruit. Palate has somewhat of musky feel with no hops present. Good example of an irish red.
