COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you are not current on dental insurance, beware, as the hop levels of this beer will give the perception that the enamel is coming off your teeth!  Centennial, Summit, Columbus, Falconer’s Flight, and Zythos hops were used everywhere from in the mash to being served through a “randall” full of hops.  Yet, unlike some big IPAs, the Denamelizer has enough malt complexity and body to at least attempt to balance the insane amount of hops used – enjoy!

Comes out of the tap a semi-transparent mahogany with a thick, fine-bubbled light tan head. Malty aroma has a decidedly hoppy overtone. Strongly hoppy flavor has malt, caramel and fruity sub-notes and is scarcely bitter. Smooth texture leaves a nice, if not strong, fizz. I don’t know about taking the enamel off one’s teeth, but this is a respectable double IPA!

On tap at Wrecking Bar. Nose has a strong citrus component with some tropical notes in the background. Flavor is similar but adds in a bit too much malt. Nice bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of pine hops with some grapefruit and a sweet grain backing that has a slight dankness. Flavor has a light resinous pine up front that mellows to a grassiness with a good amount of sweet grain backing.
