3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown with a red hint and thin off white head. Medium nose is great-like a rich, hot chocolate aroma. A little bit of that chocolate comes through on the palate, but itís much more coffee and roasted nut flavors. Really good, especially for a style thatís typically not my favorite.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Decatur, Ga - on tap at Taco Mac. Dark copper pour, light off-white head, fair amount of lacing. Pipe tobacco in the aroma with some hints of bakerís chocolate. Earthy flavor with some chocolate notes, a hint of pipe tobacco and a coffee back end. Thick enough mouthfeel with some decent chalkiness. Solid session material.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This English Brown Ale had a very light hint of toffee and caramel.
Itís appearance was a nice hazy dark brown.
This was a great tasting brew. It was fairly light bodied with a faint bitterness and hint of sweetness.
I highly recommend it!
