bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Light-bodied. Slightly grainy malty base with some sweetness, finished by some grassy hops. Hopier than expected, a well crafted basic lager. It’s hard to find a simple Helles Lager so well crafted as this. Not boring at all.

Bottle. A clear, pale-ish golden beer with a small, off-white head. Quite fruity on the nose, with a slightly spiced touch and a good malty footprint. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. The flavor has a good blend of pale, biscuity malts and fruity hops, leading to a fruity finish where the malts play a significant part. A really nice helles, both quenching and tasteful, and it’s really easy drinkable. Would like more of this one. 100813

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100813]

Bottle, 4.9% bought at the brewery. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty. Has a rough bitterness, not entirely pleasant. Some sweetness at the end, hint of aromatic hops.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Malty aroma with hints of caramel. Sweet flavor with caramel, malt and towards the end grassy hops. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottle. Sweet barley/corn syrup malt. aroma. Tan-yellow color with nice head. Sweet corn/barley malt with lightly bitter grass hops flavor. Okay - on the sweet side.

Bottle: Golden coloured, lively carbonation, firm head, beaten egg-white-like; sweetish grainy nose, combined with shy hoppy aromas; mild, sweetish-bitter flavour, soft, smooth MF, light bodied; mild, but lingering bitter-sweet finish. Unspectacular, but a nice thirst-.quencher......

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a beautiful blond foamy head. Slightly sweet and grainy aroma with distinctive note of overripe citrus-fruits and a shy herbal background. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied, smooth carbonation. Light-grainy, subtle fruity taste, also quite chalky (due to hard/basic brewing water?); dry, slightly bitter and slim finish. Still okay, but no price winner.
