COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With 1643 Original Lagerhell, Würzburger Hofbräu has succeeded in creating a product line specifically designed for young and young-at-heart beer drinkers. The beer in the ‘cult’ wired opener bottle, which has been gaining in popularity for years, certainly has the right stuff for pushing the region’s other trend beers into the shade. It is has a definite mild taste and for this reason is increasingly a favorite among women.

Very little nose. Nice gold color. Crisp and light, nothing amazing here but a solid light lager (lagerhell).

Bottle. Pours golden with a medium, large-bubbled, white head. Aroma is stingy light malts, grassy. Taste is lightly fruity, quite a bit of grainy malt, finishes with hops - herbal and grassy. Palate is light. Alright, not special.

Golden colour with solid head. Smell of hops and some sweetness. Starts malty with some hops. Nothing special

The beer in the glass has a strong golden yellow color and a flat, fine-pored head, and a lot of growing up CO2. Smells strong hoppy, aromatic, spicy. It starts with lots of hops, bitter well, but also some fine aroma hops are coming through. The finish is bitter hoppy, very tart and dry.

Blond color; generous head. It’s a gentle Pils with a hay touch and respectable bitterness.

Swing top bottle. Golden color. Grassy aroma with a hint of citrus. Satisfyingly grassy citric hopbitter flavor. Just a bit malty. Almost medium bdoied. Grassy hopbitter aftertaste.

Good mouthfeel, and refreshing to taste some malt in a lager again. Smooth means dry in this case and yet it doesn’t disappoint. Let the sweet finish convince you to try this one.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Slightly hazy, golden coloured, mid-sized white fluffy head, breaking down slowly; sweet-grainy nose with a metallic tinge; light sweet-bitter flavour, medium malty body; bready finish with a tinge of sourness, some "medical" hops in the aftertaste. Liquid bread, but from a great factory............

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized creamy white foam. Slightly sweet grainy and strawy nose. Light bitter flavour, light to medium body, well-carbonated, creamy mouthfeel. Slightly grainy and buttery taste, also a touch of cardboard; dryish, light bitter malty and herbal hoppy finish. Drinkable, but not that great.
