330ml bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, straw-hued body with a frothy, but soon receding, white head.

Smell: Doughy, grainy scent of pils malt, a little yeast, and some noted grassy tones. It’s a pils!

Taste: As with the nose, pilsner malt with touches of fresh dough, cracked grains, and a little basic sweetness. Thin vein of lemon with some herbaceously grassy hops. Amply bitter. Dry, crispish finish yielding both refreshment and a quenched thirst.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation, nearingly crisp.

Overall: A sure-footed, solid pils.

Pours a pale golden straw color with big three finger head that dissipates quickly leaving some trails of lace... Aromas are crisp and lightly malty with toasted bread notes. On the palate its crisp refreshing and everything I ever want in a pils... drinking on a 96˙ day and its hitting the spot. Good undertones of noble hops with hints of bitterness playing of the malty wheat bread flavors perfectly. Top notch pils for sure.

330 ml, bb 2012/11. Crystal clear topaz with lots of tiny bubbles, and an inch of meringue topping that lasts. Aroma is crisp and spicy flowers and dry grass, light lemon, metal, skunk, and caramel grain. Flavors of dry grass, lemongrass, caramel, plus some touches of rubber and twangy metallic notes. Medium body is crisp and well-balanced, smoothly carbonated, yet tingly enough to be a nice session beer. Without the rubber and metal tinges, this would be a really nice beer.

11.2oz bottle in a footed pilsener. Pours light golden with a fluffy, white head. Aroma of pale malts, a little bit of nuts, and some light hops. Flavor pretty standard for a beer this style. Average texture. An ok German beer.

11.2 oz brown bottle. Pours pale golden with white, long lasting, foamy head. Aroma is of bready malt, and some floral hops. The body is light and crisp. Taste is floral, earthy hops, some unpleasant vegetables and bready malt. Long, earthy finish. Forgettable brew.

A good looking pilsner with golden body and a creamy white head. Floral aroma with some spicyness. Herbal. Mouthfeel is good with plenty of carbonation. Palate is bitter and lingering aftertaste of pine. Not more than an average beer though.

330 ml bottle from beer of the month club. Pours a pale gold with a nice fluffy white head. Mild aroma of malt with just a hint of hops. Taste is light and refreshing, typical pilsner. Easy to drink, just not much to it.
