COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Würzburger Hofbräu Premium Pilsner has been the undisputed market leader in its core area of Lower Franconia for decades. It is brewed from the very best raw materials; it is elegant and delicately bitter in taste. In terms of sales focus, this beer comes top of our list. The classic visual appearance of the product is a defining element of our overall brand, Würzburger Hofbräu, and therewith of our company's whole image.

Beautiful fluffy head on pour, and nice strong malty aroma. This is going to be good, right? Taste is weak and watery, unexpected as it smelled so good. Nothing is left on the palate either, so I makrked it down for that. I was posed for something great, and got just plain mediocre....

0,3l Flasche. Hellgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Riecht leicht malzig. Im Geschmack herrlich frischer Hopfen mit einer dezenten Malzigkeit. Gutes Pils!

Pours a beautiful golden color...clear and light, with little head. Exceptionally bitter for a Pilsner. I normally like the combination of strong bitterness with a light body. Aroma is predominately malty, with less hops in the aroma than I expect. I’m a little puzzled by the combination of low hoppiness in the aroma, with strong bitterness, but it’s at least interesting for a change of pace. Overall, this one was pleasant though. By the end of the cup, it’s just a tad heavy, though. Not my favorite German Pilsener, but good.

Somewhat disappointing pilsner. Nicely crisp and refreshing but a little light on the body and too perfumed in both aroma and taste.

Deve estar bem fresca, suave no palato, escorrega bem mas deixa um travo amargo, pesada. Bebida no verão mas deve ser boa para o inverno para acompanhar uma refeição. ..................................................

Bottle. Ah, a reminder of the classic German styles. While the golden color and biscuit-based, almost corny texture of this beer certainly makes the geekiest beer geeks turn up their nose, I find the subtlety and finesse in this stalwart quite delicious, without flaw, and delicious. Bottled, 500ml at Alter Kranen, Wurzburg, Bavaria. Yellow gold with fizzed white head. Thin malts with a fusty, wet cardboard flavour, very little comes through the over carbonated barrier really. Bordering on poor.

Aroma is grainy malts, fruit and a small hint of bubblegum. The flavor is grainy malts, fruit/berries, citrus and a dry and mildly bitter finish.
