Tap vogels in koln, pours a dark brown, light, a bit of grainy, more like dark kolsch then an alt, but it was decent

Beautiful brown color, bright, with creamy head. Mild aroma of caramel, and light smoke. The low carbonation allows to enjoy a better body; caramel flavor, with correct nitterness, not too dry. Pleasant.

On tap at Weinhaus Vogel. A clear, copper-colored beer topped by a small, diminishing, beige head. Nice caramel aroma with dried fruits and hints of hops. Caramel-sweet, medium-bodied and dry in the mouth, slightly meaty and with dried fruits. Even though it feels quite sweet, it’s a refreshing beer. 091009

From tap at Weinhaus Vogel. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge and chalk white head. Aroma is mild spiced and grassy hoppy. Extremely crisp and vibrant grassy hops flavour with a light toasted malt base and light spice note. Bone dry and crisp finish yet with a lasting mild malty sensation. Great.

Draught @ Weinhaus Vogel, Eigelstein 74, Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, raspberry notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081007]
