Bah Humbug is a 6% abv brew using not just the traditional malted barley and hops, but also a big sprinkling of cinnamon. The effect of the cinnamon is to give a spicy, almost banana-like flavour as often found on German wheat beers; and this blends with the sweet-honeyed flavours of the Maris Otter barley to create a beer with all the fruit flavours of mince pies, Christmas Pudding and Christmas cake all rolled into one.

Pours with a mostly short-lived, bubbly head. Lovely deep red-amber color. Caramel and medium roast malts in the nose, with cinnamon and a subtle hint of coffee. Flavor: largely follows nose, with cinnamon flavored caramel and medium roasted malts. Feel: seems clearly too thin. O: OK for the holidays.

Pours near clear amber orange with well retained off white head. Aromas of nutmeg, burnt toffee, grains, cinnamon and figs. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, light breast biscuit sweetness, hints of mint mixed with the Christmas cake and cinnamon nutmeg spice. Finishes lightly sweet, lingering malt and spice with earthy hop character lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is orange/brown with a thin, bubbly white head. Aroma is faint and includes notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of fruit. Flavor is a bit watered down with notes of all-spice, light hops, and sugar.

Pours dark amber, white head that quickly disappears into nothing. Aroma of cinnamon, orange, banana and slightly floral. Tastes sweet and spicy with cinnamon, citrus and banana flavours. Slight bitter after taste. The first Christmas themed beer I’ve had that actually tastes Christmassy.

16.9 oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours amber with a decent off white head. Aroma of malt, cinnamon, and fruit. Taste of banana, spices, and malt. This medium to full bodied brew is pretty well balanced and not bad.

Bottle. Amber with an off-white head that sticks around as a bare coat. Smells surprising light on caramel, cinnamon, mace, honeyed dough. Now the light body is not a surprise. Taste is slightly sweet with sultanas, pears a little banana, cake spices. Little bitterness. Pleasant but a bit vacant in the middle.

500ml bottle from LCBO. Toronto, Ontario. It pours a hazy dark amber colour with a thin off - white head which disapates quickly. I has a fruity aroma with notes of orange and candy cane. Starts off bitter then candy cane and banana is pronounced.

Weak base malt aroma with some spice. Almost clear orange amber under a wispy off-white cover. Weak watery malt flavour with some very faint success. Thin, medium carbonation, clean.

Thanks to Incis, bottle from London, Utobeer Market Stall,
Pours amber to deep reddish with beige medum, frothy top, almost no lasing. On nose it comes and on tongue it stays as light bitter with spices added as to pumpkin beer, clove and nutmeg dominates to me. But flavor is so mild, not like spicy bite, very light, even a bit watery in palette. Taste is minimal sweet plus bitter from hops and spices with dry, floury nutmeg, nutty mouthfeel at the end. Light body, a bit oily texture, soft carbonation. Some nutty touch in flavor as well, light bitter with notes os spice beer, Cristmas beer.
