2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Brown with slight head. I know itís cold out there, but itís a little out of season for this to appear. There was a tart fruity note with some fungal type notes, sourish cherry with a plum background. Not good.

Unremarkable Christmas ale, not really up to the usual Wychwood standards. Rather flat, light Brown colour, bot much head.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask. Golden honey beer with a thick off-white head. Lightly spiced Christmas pudding nose. Cakey taste, with lots of spices - a little clove, raisin. There's a bitter finish which is complimented by the spices. Very Christmassy!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear amber with a small, white foam head. Nose holds some berries, mild spices, brown bread. Light sweet flavor with pleasant gingerbread, some toasty sugars, dried fruits. Light bodied with soft carbonation - defintely lacking some condition. Moderately sweet finish, further toasty bread, light cinnamon and ginger, grapes and berries. OK stuff.

Gravity @ the Clarendon Leicester. Smells of cinnamon and fruitcake. Copper colour no head but prob down to dispense. Taste of spice. Slightly watery. Much nicer than I had imagined. I like this.
