Bottle purchased at Ancaster LCBO. Pours extremely active copper, with a head that is gone as fast as it appears. Aroma is hard for me to pin point, malt. Tastes a little carmalized malt, some sweet brown sugar, I get a little sour though for some reason as well.

500ml bottle. A rich mahogany beer, with a light tan head which fades quickly. Some toffees and malts on the nose, but develops into the spices, cinnamons and dried fruits once hitting the tongue. Definitely gives you that festive taste. A little bitterness on the tongue, but it’s mostly sweet. Nice enough for a seasonal ale, but I wouldn’t want to be drinking this the whole year through! BAH HUMBUG!

Ruby red with a I think it was 2 fingure head. Smell’s of red apple’s and candy. No carbonation. Taste sometimes of candy & red apple’s with a little hopp bitterniss and it’s heavy bodied. A few sips tasted kinda weird and stange. Nothing bad but as a winter seasonal it’s allright. Kinda like a fruity or candy taste a bite. Different, worth trying out to see what it is.

Aroma is mild/moderate, mostly malt. Pours a nice orange/red colour with a thin tan head. The taste is not overwhelming or potent but I find it to be quite enjoyable! It has a nice bready flavour, with dry and subtle spices in the aftertaste. It manages to be both light and refreshing and wintery at the same time, without going overboard on the spices like some winter ales (cough cough Harpoon Winter Warmer) do. Quite nice, I’m impressed.
