dnas2 (522), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England Oct 21, 2007 Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Light citrus hop aroma. Slightly watery. Sweet with some dryness. Perfectly drinkable but boring, and no sign of the honey. sm89walt (168), Norwich and Canterbury, Norfolk, England Sep 29, 2007 Cask - Hobgoblin, Canterbury. A light amber colour with a fluffy yet fine white head. Fairtrade honey is apparently used in this brew yet it was barely detectable. A mild citric aroma. Fruity taste with a languid and fairly short hop finish. Quite thin in body and a sour fruit aftertaste. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Sep 29, 2007 Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. A middling sweet bitter with the honey barely apparent. Completely different to the bottled beer and the better for it. Doppelganger (1086), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England Sep 16, 2007 Cask, Woodstock social club. Warm copper, fine white head. Toasted bread with butter and honey. Blackberry notes. Sweet toasty malt flavor, warm and lip smacking. A simple pleasing pint. fonefan (4062), Ulfborg, Denmark Sep 6, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear light amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head.
