Pours black with ruby edging and a tan head. Strong chocolate aromas, with dark malt and a touch of coffee. Tastes incredibly dark and rich - dark roasted malt, a little burnt, rich coffee flavours and a hint of dark chocolate. A bitter finish, a little fizzy on the palate but very smooth otherwise. Nice, very nice.

Bottle at Norwich Waterfront music venue (while watching The Icicle Works who were excellent btw). Beer pours almost black with a creamy off white head. Relatively mild aroma of chocolate, roasted coffee and malt. Medium bitterness and light sweetness. Soft carbonation, full body, smooth creamy texture. Enjoyable, easy drinking stout, if just a little bland/inoffensive.

A decent and fine stout that it is easy to recommend. Opaque black color with fine dense beige head. Chocolate, roasted and some coffee. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness.

Brunatne, piana gęsta i oblepiająca szkło, utrzymuje się niezły kożuch. Zapach niezbyt mocny, kawa, gorzka czekolada i jagody. W smaku wyraźna gorzka i kwaśna kawa. Jest też jakiś słodkawy, piernikowy przebłysk na początku ale generalnie wytrawne. Goryczka kawowo-palona, trochę popiołowa, nieco ściągająca. Niezbyt skomplikowane.

Bottle, 500ml. Black colour with a decent brown head. Aroma of coffee and liquorice. Flavour is more of the same, with malt and a little underlying soft citrus. A not so nice burnt finish. Not bad, but ruined by the finish.

Dark brown with a 1 finger fine creamy tan head with average retention and beautiful lacing. Aroma: sweetish; coffee, chocolate, cereals. Taste: mostly coffee, burnt bread crust with cereals in the aftertaste. Bitterness: roasty and rather strong. Low to medium carbonation, medium body. Smooth. A very nice porter with a well pronounced aroma and taste. Not too complex or unique, but still very pleasant. One I wouldn’t mind repeating.

Poured from a bottle purchased in Slovenia into a tall glass to drink. The beer had a dark brown-black color with a dark brown hue and a large creamy tan head with pretty good retention, and average cling and lacing. Its aroma featured coffee and chocolate along with toffee and caramel malt with bread and grain. A very bitter grainy and earthy coffee and caramel taste with a mild sweetness. The beer had a fairly full and thick body with average carbonation and a dry finish.

Bottle 0,50L. Pours almost black with large, long lasting, creamy, light brown head, that leaves some excellent lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, mild coffee, cocoa/chocolatte. Taste starts light bitter and caramely with moderate bitter finish. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
