Pours a pale golden brown from the bottle, with thin off white lacy head that doesn’t really stick. Aroma of pale and crystal malts and not a lot else. Taste follows, pretty bland. Nothing great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ughsmash (6670) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a stark white head. The aroma picked up pale malts and a kiss of honey with fresh grassy hops and hay.. sweet and "organic" feeling. The flavor found pale and bready malts at the core, with grassy notes, a little orange zest, and dry, white spices around.. finished crisp with carbonation and orange zest over honey. Light-bodied and a little tangy on the palate.. this was a decent drinker.

500ml bottle pours a slightly cloudy orange/amber color with fluffy white head. Smells of grains. Aroma has grass, bread, and some weak caramel. Taste is slightly bitter, and more so in the finish. Body is light to medium with average carbonation and lightly hopped. Good, but nothing very memorable

The beer is part of a Wychwood Variety Pack available at the LCBO for Christmas and I had the ’Scarecrow’ version. The beer pours a translucent pale reddish gold colour with a short-lived half inch white head. The aroma is weak grains, some earthy hops, and butterscotch. Mouthfeel is light to medium-bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is grass, muddy hops, and weak caramel sweetness.

Mörkt gyllengul öl med lätt vitt skum. Doft av citrus och smörkola. Smaken är malt och typisk brittisk beska. Ganska söt.
