COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: pasteurised.
Previously sold as Circle Master in the UK.
Traditionally craft brewed in Oxfordshire using organically grown English Barley Malt and Organic Target Hops. Scarecrow is a wonderfully refreshing Golden Ale evoking lazy, hazy days of summer in golden meadows & ripe barleyfields. A winning combination of tart citric fruit flavours perfectly balanced by a rich biscuity maltiness and rounded off with a spicy bittersweet finish.

Bottle, 50cl - Clear golden beer with a large white head. Aroma is malty with earthy notes of caramel, floral hops and butterscotch. Flavor is earthy with notes of caramel, lemon curd, butterscotch and some hints of alcohol. Not too bad, but a bit too much of a alcohol touch.

Bottle in Boca Raton, Fl. 500ml. American pint glass. Yellow-gold pour with thick white head and lacing throughout. Slight haze. Aroma of bread, biscuit, flowers, hay. Taste is significant bread, cereal, light citrus (grapefruit), light flowers and rich malts. Bitter finish and floral aftertaste. Not a bad ESB.

Gold, very slight haze.Light frothy head, light lace. Butterscotch, light spice aroma, slight earthy/herbal floral. Taste is fairly smooth slight sweet, some spice with a significant tartness, tart kind of bitter.Little bit of fake sugar diety finish like from the mild sweet with the bitter and the light abv combo. Not a great finish. Not a fan of the overall taste especially finish.

Pour to a medium bodied head, but it disappeared quickly. Golden in color. Not a strong smell to it. Not overly tasteful, but a decent beer. A slight more carbonation than other beers of the same style.

Pours clear golden yellow with a finger worth of white head. Smells of fruit lightly come through. Taste of fruits, hops, and a long lasting bitterness on the tongue. Medium carbonation. Decent beer.

bottle. Poured slightly hazy amber-orange with a thin white head. Light bready malt aroma. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel, finish is a bit astringent. Pale malt with apricot flavour, a nice session brew.

Jado (250) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAR 2, 2013
Poured a clear amber with a thin white head. The nose wasn’t strong, but I could still pick up aromas of raisin, grain and cut grass. The taste showed malt, a little spice and citrus, with a light apple juice note. Creamy palate but a short finish. Not too bad.

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden yellow with thin wisp of head. Wheat, hay and apricots - but generally faint in aroma and flavour. Light all through. Not bad, just forgettable.

From the bottle... most of it’s in the glass now but I just took a swig to see how it tastes to possibly the majority of buyers. The strongest thing about this beer is the dry hay flavour. There’s nice balance in the finish of sweet and bitter. Aroma has some banana, as strange as that sounds for an English ale... Yeah this isn’t that bad, really.
