Traditionally craft brewed in Oxfordshire using organically grown English Barley Malt and Organic Target Hops. Scarecrow is a wonderfully refreshing Golden Ale evoking lazy, hazy days of summer in golden meadows & ripe barleyfields. A winning combination of tart citric fruit flavours perfectly balanced by a rich biscuity maltiness and rounded off with a spicy bittersweet finish.

Yellow, cloudy, with white creamy head, that dosnt last. very mild sour fruit in the aroma. Mild taste malt, fruit metalic bitterness, The aftertaste grows little as you drink more. High in carbon.

Pours a medium dirty gold with a small head. Aroma is light malts and citrus, caramel, grassy. Flavor is bitter malt, hints of wood and smoke, bitter citrus. Actually was pretty tasty.

One of the better English ales I have had. Nothing amazing just a very decent very drinkable mild ale. If not for the $4 a pint price I could drink this everyday.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2013 Butelka 0.5. Piana biala, srednio pecherzykowa szybko opada pozostawiajac cienki kozuszek.

500ml bottle. Pours a medium hued amber body with a tall, sudsy and fluffy snow white head. Loosely packed with tons of bubbles, but does have some nice retention and soapy lacing. Nose is as soapy as the head, dishwater hops mix with caramel malts, oranges, grapefruit and lemon grass. Aroma is fairly muted on the whole though. Fore is more of the soapy character that is prevalent in many parts of this beer, heavily astringent, along with backing flavors of caramel, toffee, pine nuts and citrus. Back end brings in a bit of honey sweetness, but artificial and not at all pleasing, and then more grassy notes. Light bodied, not watery but feels like battery acid on the tongue. Not really a pleasing experience. Finish is soap, hops, sweet malts, honey, grass and flowers; medium length. Just a below average beer when all is said and done.

Very cool bottle and label (just like the other Wychwood beers Iíve seen). Aroma is a little skunky but the flavor is wonderful. Starts out crisp and bitter but finishes smooth and sweet as the beer warms. Bright golden/yellowish color with little head retention and lacing.

A fresh enjoyable ale with some good atributes. However its just nothing special and is actually quite bland in the taste department. Not a great advert for organic

Minimal trübes helles Bernstein mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Etwas malzig, würzig, eine leicht hopfenbittere, spritzig, unauffällig.

Pours a mirky gold color. Aroma is strongly of pine, citrus, and spicy malts. Almost something of vinegar in there. Taste is initially watery and disappointing, but the switch to sweet vinegar, florals, and some light citrus is pleasant enough. Itís clear this is a lighter beer, but itís doing something with the flavor at least. I wouldnít drink more than on at a sitting, but itís not bad at all.
