COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: pasteurised.
Previously sold as Circle Master in the UK.
Traditionally craft brewed in Oxfordshire using organically grown English Barley Malt and Organic Target Hops. Scarecrow is a wonderfully refreshing Golden Ale evoking lazy, hazy days of summer in golden meadows & ripe barleyfields. A winning combination of tart citric fruit flavours perfectly balanced by a rich biscuity maltiness and rounded off with a spicy bittersweet finish.

Basically just a really good budweiser. All its got goin for it is its light and refreshing character. Sweet malts with a barely noticable hops. Iíll take it over a BMC for sure, but that aint really sayin much.

Cloudy gold, with offwhite head. Medium body. Smells lightstruck, damn clear bottle. Toffeelike buttery malt, little hop flavor but lingering bitterness.

Aroma: A lot of bread aromas with hints of earthiness and possible resin. Appearance: Clear gold with a light, white head. Taste: Light sweetness backed with a medium sourness. Palate: Full bodied with a creamy texture, soft carbonation and a long finish. Overall: Tastes like a flat import with trumped up flavor. Certainly drinkable, but itís almost as though they were going for an import lager with double flavor and less carbonation. Iím just not enthused at all.

This is a good, average pale ale. This brew poured up a dark golden-colored body with a one-finger thick head that dissipated quickly and left minimal lacing. Aromas werenít very strong but hops and a hint of malts were detected. Flavors were fairly bland for the most part; lots of grains (like I was eating dry cereal) with a hit of hops and some sweet malts. Medium-bodied with a finish that is dry and hoppy.

Bottled. Poured a clear golden with almost no head. This smelled JUST LIKE Budweiser, but at least it tasted a little better. A little, that is.

This is a nice, pleasant, very refreshing beer but not what I expected. Itís more like a lighter wheat ale than a bitter. It is amber with a big, thick, off-white head that slowyl thins to a smaller lasting head that never vanishes and leavs some lacing. The aroma is grain, biscuit, yeast, with light cirtus flowers and pine. The taste is mild, grain, yeasty bread with a citrusy bite. It leaves a mild grain aftertaste. Itís a bit thin with a vanishing palate at first, but the palate softens and fills out after a couple sips. It is a bit on the bland side, but still tasty, very pleasant, crisp, and very refreshing. The citrusy hop element goes very well with the rest.
