Though this beer was well enough to drink I thought it would have more bite. It was tasty enough but I thought it fell kind of flat. I could taste the subtle citrus notes but I felt the flavor was too subtle, like I kept expecting more and it just didn’t go there.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Clear, rich gold pour with a light, bubbly head. Nose holds a bit of bread and some faint citrus. Flavor has some orange juice sweetness, touches of plastic and faint straw bitters. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with slightly rindy hops, a bit of plastic and some white sugar. Not altogether bad, but certainly not a good beer.
