Fresh off his cart is No.4. It’s an unpasteurised shimmering blonde concoction of fruits. Instant refreshment with an insanely fragrant aroma. No.4 is the first of the good DR’s elixirs to emerge from his apothecary. We expect more brews to follow from this enigmatic character.

Bottle 0,5l. Pale golden colour with thin white head. Fizzy carbonation. Fresh citrusy aroma. Bitter sweet taste. Overall not so good. Tastes and looks more like a pilsner than a blond ale.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy pale golden. Citrus and elderflower aroma. Dryish with light-medium body and rounded, somewhat un-firm mouthfeel. Juicy citrus, pears, grains and syrup. Mid bitter finish, Aromatic but with unconvincing malt character.

Pours golden colour with a light white head that dissipates quickly. Medium bitterness with an abrupt finish, thin and light bodied. Some bready and floral aromas in there. Drinkable but nothing special.

[7028-20150125] Bottle. Grainy wet earthworm metallic aroma. Clear, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head. Toasted cereal and peaty flavour. Medium body. Average. (5/3/5/3/11) 2.7

Bottle from Tesco. Golden colour, slight haze. Sweet hop nose. Metallic finish. Good session beer. Unremarkable.

500 l bottle with a BB date stamp of Feb. 2016. Bright copper-gold body with an off-white head that has good retention and leaves patterned sticky lacing. Looks and smells like a malty pilsner but the flavor is more malty than expected. Well matched hop load. Very nice bitter/sweet balance. O: aromatic and flavorful for style with good balance.

A very mild, slightly soapy lemon aroma. When poured , stand’s as a very mediocre stereotypical golden blonde colour. Bear’s a very thin, watery mouth-feel, but bears a mild biscuit hoppy flavour, very crisp and clean tasting. One of the most refreshing Ale’s I have tried, very very light and drinkable, easy to guzzle down, but rather shallow.

500ml bottle. Light golden ale with little head. Not much in the way of aromas. Fizzy and bitter with malty, metallic finish. Refreshing but unremarkable. Would go well with crisps or nuts.

Good clean gold, thin white head. Light malt nose, palate is of slightly sweet malt, lacking any hop character. An average blonde beer.

Bottled (thanks Kim!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and some herbal notes with quite "metallic" water, along with some nice maltiness. Flavour is fruity, floral, some earthy and mild bitterness to it. Not that exciting....
