Fresh off his cart is No.4. It’s an unpasteurised shimmering blonde concoction of fruits. Instant refreshment with an insanely fragrant aroma. No.4 is the first of the good DR’s elixirs to emerge from his apothecary. We expect more brews to follow from this enigmatic character.

Nice floral aspects, some fruity notes, very nice hoppy aftertaste. What I liked about this brew, that it had that nice oily-fuzzy mouthfeeling! Not bad at all

Something off in aroma, but something still makes it weirdly pleasant - that would be fresh pineapple, mango, some floral aspect. Caramel maltiness in background. Moderate to light sweetness, light bitterness Somewhat decent

(Rating #6893)

500ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-yellow with a medium, long lasting, frothy, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Aroma is grainy malt, floral, fruit and grass. Sweet flavour of citrus, grain, toffee and grass with a dry, mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Apr. ’15. A 0.5 l bottle from Ivana Trgovina/Mali Ducan, Split. It poured lighter hazy golden body with medium sized head. Lemony hop and fruity malty aroma. Very lightly bitter flavor, alongside with pleasant sweetness, honey and peach-like fruit. Not particularly rich in body, a bit watery. Moderately long, herbal finish. More or less average for what it is, but pleasant enough anyway.

Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear golden colour with white head. Aroma is a nice mixture of pine resin, earth and fruits with clear citrus, elderflower and grassy notes. The taste is of citrus with slight bitter pine notes, medium bitter with balancing sweetness. Thin to medium body with a short pleasant bitter finish. Overall it is a nice, balanced and easily drinkable beer with a nice character. Will be reaching for more, especially during summer months!
