Fresh off his cart is No.4. It’s an unpasteurised shimmering blonde concoction of fruits. Instant refreshment with an insanely fragrant aroma. No.4 is the first of the good DR’s elixirs to emerge from his apothecary. We expect more brews to follow from this enigmatic character.

50ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Golden colour with a white foam head leaving lacing and floral citrus hop aroma. Taste is biscuity malt caramel with boiled sweets, some peach and citrusy hop bitterness. LIght bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

Pours yellow/blonde with white small foamy head. Aroma is lemon, straw, grassy and a touch of caramel malt. Taste is mildly sweet nd medium bitter, quite dry and tanin presence felt. A bit watery a fizzy tesxture wise. Overall an alright drinkable beer but nothing special at all.

Wychwood pack UK. Surprenante. Légère amertume, florale, désaltérante. Belle étiquette, touche wychwood.

500ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy to macropore, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon tea. Taste is slightly sweet, biscuity, pale malty, slightly citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon zest, a touch of lemon tea; light, slightly watery. Nice composition, but not enough flesh on a scrawny skeleton.

Nice floral aspects, some fruity notes, very nice hoppy aftertaste. What I liked about this brew, that it had that nice oily-fuzzy mouthfeeling! Not bad at all

Something off in aroma, but something still makes it weirdly pleasant - that would be fresh pineapple, mango, some floral aspect. Caramel maltiness in background. Moderate to light sweetness, light bitterness Somewhat decent

(Rating #6893)

500ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-yellow with a medium, long lasting, frothy, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Aroma is grainy malt, floral, fruit and grass. Sweet flavour of citrus, grain, toffee and grass with a dry, mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Apr. ’15. A 0.5 l bottle from Ivana Trgovina/Mali Ducan, Split. It poured lighter hazy golden body with medium sized head. Lemony hop and fruity malty aroma. Very lightly bitter flavor, alongside with pleasant sweetness, honey and peach-like fruit. Not particularly rich in body, a bit watery. Moderately long, herbal finish. More or less average for what it is, but pleasant enough anyway.
