If you like ales that are overpriced and make you want to throw them out after the first sip then this beer is for you.

Taste: Sweet caramel malt taste. Bitter, hoppy oak aftertaste. It’s sweet at first and then it tastes like Liquanados (sp) IPA, only not as intense. The label says it tastes sweet like malt first, then like fruit, then a bitter hops finish. I agree with the first too, only its mostly a caramel taste. I got very little fruit taste out of it except a slight lemon taste on one pull. Light to medium, somewhat watery palate. Appearance: Amber with good, frothy, white head, poor head retention. I didn’t finish the bottle.

Pours an orangish amber color with an English style off-white head that stays 1/4 inch deep. Aroma is orange peel and peat. Taste is sweet/sour toasted malt, some citrus, and mild hop bitterness. Pretty decent English session beer.

500 ml bottle. Light brown colour.Tall off-white creamy head that clings to the glass. Rich mellow nutty malt aroma. Slightly medicinal hop flavours. Crisp, but with low carbonation level. Smooth texture and a gentle rounded malt flavour. On the dry side, but the malts prevent it from being too dry. Easily drinkable. The upfront nuttiness is perhaps a little too much after a while.

Had this beer on 12/26/2002. Aroma is very skunky, it’s in a clear bottle. Color is a light golden brown with a slight haze, there is a good bit of sediment in the bottle. Carbonation is good, but not much head. Taste malty and sweet. Starting with a medium body it goes down easy with a slight sharpness up front. Finish comes on with a light sweet malt flavor backed by a faint hop flavor and mild bitterness. Overall its good, although the aroma is skunky it’s not in the taste and it is a nice brew to drink.

Nice amber pour with decent head.Fruity syrupy malt aromas appear as well as juicy scents and flavors. While this brews flavor may be on th malty chewy side, it is certainly quenching. A hearty and juicy brew. Not too bad.

Big offwhite head with some large bubbles. Slightly hazy chestnut brown body. Malty nutty aroma with medicinal notes. Dry nutty malty taste with metallic medicinal notes. Taste lingers for a long time. Chewy mouthfeel. Very nice session beer. (0.5l bottle from the wine monopoly.)
