Bottle pours amber and cloudy with a short offwhite head. Aromas of grassy notes with a little grapefruit and lots of earthy tones. Flavor is slight orange, and pineapple blended with caramel malts. Slightly bitter at the finish. Palate is grainy and somewhat textured. Not much in the way of hops on the finish. Not bad though just nothing too great about it either.

it’s not bad. amber haze pour with slightly below average head that recedes rather quickly, revealing an oily film residue. the aroma is best described on the bottle: earth (grass), tart citrus (touch of grapefruit), and a well-balanced hop/malt aroma that is mirrored in the flavor. it’s a bit more malty than i had initially expected. i’ve hit that trend lately. i need more hops. it’s a short finish, and perhaps thin. it’s good, but i’d like to taste it on draft to compare. i’m guessing it’s a bit hoppier.

Light colour with some creaminess in the pour. A tad cheesy aroma. Some bitterness and middling mouthfeel, and a half pint is all I could drink, not the entire pint. Yes citrus and caramel, just minimally satisfying to me.

Pours deep gold with a fluffy head. Mildly skinked hoppy/citric aroma. Starts very tart. Finishes with a good hit of alcohol, orange pith, and hops. Notes of lightly buttery caramel. Not bad but it dulls out quickly. Says that it is seasonal. It seems to be available all year. Be careful for skunks.

Bottle from Sainsburys. A pale amber/orange colour with a creamy off-white head. Hoppy, slightly spicey aroma. Flavour is hoppy then bitter, with some yeast at the end. Dry with a longish bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied. Not too bad at all. Don’t get the "skunkyness" referred to by others, perhaps because it’s not travelled far, is in a brown bottle and still has a year to go on its best before date.

Somewhat bitter.. Tangy stuff. High fizz but small bubbles. First mouthful doesn’t count as you need it to kill/arouse the appropriate tastebuds. Not particularly malty, it’s there but only just. Another fabulous example of a logo concept beer.

Poured a medium brown with the usual British malt aroma. Flavour was fairly one dimensional but nonetheless enjoyable. Soft, generous malts, with a minor hop presence in the background.

Great beer…great for dinner…excellent with fish and chips. Peppery, with a fruity aftertaste. Certainly something I will buy again and again.
