Orange amber in color with a good head, weak retention, ok lacing. The aroma was of black pepper, light fruity esters. The flavor had fruity esters and some black pepper, not nearly as smooth as in the aroma, though. There was a touch of cedar included as well. Mouthfeel was moderate in body and carbonated.

50 cl bottle, Shelburne. Pale amber colour, frothy persistent head. Malty hopped aroma, nice bitterness and floral flavour. Fairly smooth, long finish.

Amber color, with a beige head, toasted malt, flowery hops note, a faint leafiness, mild pineyness and grassiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasted malt character, a juicy hops accent, with some grassy and leafy notes, hint of nuttiness, leading towards a floral hops bitterness finish.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Deep golden colour, moderate head, leaves a nice lacing. Pleasant nutty and moderately hoppy aroma with notes of toffee and caramel. Flavour has decent hops throughout, hints of burnt caramel but the beer is not sweet (fairly dry, actually). Not a bad beer this one.

(500 ml bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Slightly shady golden color, white head. Fruity acid and bitter hoppy scent. Spicy and bitter taste. A bit sweet aftertaste. Higher/better than "normal" mouthfeel.

Pours a copper orange colour. Fruity and spicy flavour and aroma. Fairly light bodied with a bitter finish. Pretty good, but I much prefer Hobgoblin.

500ml Bottle: Pours copper in colour, an average head that didn’t hang around long. Aroma is quite mild, some sweetness, something a little spicy but off. Tastes, to my palate, remarkably like a boring unspicy version of the Bah Humbug I had last week. Extremely light in body, good hop bitterness, only mild sweetness. Unfortunately the entire thing is quite one-dimensional in that it offers nothing spectacular. Good all around, though.
