One of the best bitters I’ve ever had. Great flavor, body, nose, and finish. So very easy to drink, truly a delight to drink. I hate to classify this as a ESB, to me it reminds me more of a wheat beer.

Brown bottle from Whole foods. Hazy amber hued having small white diminishing head with fair lacing. Soft fruity ester aroma. Light-to-medium bodied that starts with tart, slight malt and moderate bitterness and finishes dry with bitterness. Unpleasant lingering off flavor like mushrooms (oxidation product?) -definitely skunked. Not sure if this is the fault of the brewer or Whole Foods so I may need to try it again sometime in the future. However, from other Ratebeerian comments, skunkiness was also noted.

Bottle pours almost orange with a thin but staying head. Aroma has notes of of malt, flowers, caramel. It’s hard to call it a great beer, even though I enjoyed ever mouthful. The main problems are balance and finish.

Bottle from LCBO. I’ve always avoiding this beer int he past due to the clear bottle, but they’ve finally grabbed a clue and switched to brown, so I figured I should give it a shot. Pours a slightly hazy but bright orange-amber with a decent sized off-white head. Mellow, sweet aroma with notes of malt, honey, grass, and a bit of floral hops. Thin body. Flavour is grainy and slightly roasty, with some light toffee notes, and a moderately bittered finish. Not bad, but nothing I’d go out of my way for.

The best part about this beer is the artwork on the bottle. Ugly cloudy orange color, slight head. Flavor was all bitterness, very little complexity. It didn’t go down very smoothly either. I didn’t like it very much.

(Bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, sweet pickles, and breadiness. Flavor of sweet malt.

Slight biscuit aroma. A hazy amber beer very thin head. Not a looker by any means. Slightly bitter with some scone or honey but not much else. Not good. Poured out.

500 ml bottle. Pours a deep golden color with a whitish head. Sour, skunky aroma. Flavor was frankly vile. Extremely bitter, like biting into the white pith of a lemon or orange. Its not often that I dump a beer - this one I poured down the sink after one mouthful.
