Jul 5, 2005 15 Oct 2004 - Nice sweet fruit head, with vinuos aroma. Clear red colour, lowish head, low retention and suds lacing. Simplisitic but pleasant fruit hop sweet flavour. Thinnish mouthfeel, medium bitterness and a pleasant lingering aftertaste.

Jul 1, 2005 Bottle: Burnt orange with a thin greyish head around the rim. Orange, toffee malts, and a hint of passionfruit with some dried herbs and lemon in the background. Some slightly burnt toffee flavours with passionfruit again and strawberries. Despite the rich descriptors I found this somewhat one-dimensional and occassionally cardboardy.

Jun 1, 2005 One of the brewer’s better bottled beers. Lucozade colour, with a moderate short-lived head. Fiercely aromatic - zesty grapefruit notes and some Styrian hop spiciness. Lots of upfront grapefuit in the mouth but with an underlay of dark rum-like alcohol. Robustly bitter in the finish.

May 28, 2005 An insane amount of floating devris. More similar to hefes than ESBs. Slightly better than the Scarecrow Ale, and reminiscent of St. Peter brews, only better.
