Light and hoppy ale. Amber coloured with little head. Fresh and slightly bitter. Rather thin.

Another slightly skunked brew from this company. Clear bottles should be banned! Got some nice balanced hop and malt, apples, raisins and sugar. But the damn skunk was strong as it warmed.

Rerate 2005 - Much better then the one I had last year (8/20), I changed the ratings to reflect the new one. Prominant hops, floral, malty.

Honey-coloured with a decent-sized white head that fades to thin lacing. Hop presence is fairly assertive, with floral notes and a lemony citrus smell. Also quite floral in taste with some caramel noticable. A medium length bitter finish. Quite good.

Pours deep gold with a fluffy head. Mildly skinked hoppy/citric aroma. Starts very tart. Finishes with a good hit of alcohol, orange pith, and hops. Notes of lightly buttery caramel. Not bad but it dulls out quickly. Says that it is seasonal. It seems to be available all year. Be careful for skunks.

Dammit, Wychwood, buy brown bottles! Hazy, Snapple-colored, decent label. Grain and polecat aroma, due to the flippin' bottle. Lightly sweet, pleasantly bitter, some interesting caramelized/toasted sugar and floral flavors. I think I liked this better than most of their other offerings so far. It has a certain baked pie quality to it -- the roasted sugars and fruitiness. Good balance on the acidity. Body was medium and drinkable. Finish was subtle, mellow and somewhat long-lasting, without any clinging bitterness.

Amber boy has a bit of a white head and some mediocre lacing. Aroma is of English hops from a clear bottle, bit citrusy and metallic. Pleasantly bitter but you can tell it could have been better.

Orangey-amber topped with a bubbly white froth. Somewhat indistinguishable aroma of vague citrus and earthiness. Flavour is bland tartness with a mild hoppiness following. Shame a great label was wasted on an average beer.
