Bottle. Pours a clear gold colour with not much of a head. Plenty of hops in the aroma. Smooth with a malty, bitter flavour to begin with, and a hint of fruit in the finish. Refreshing and drinkable.

more bitter than i’d expected... really rich aroma, amber pour with thick white head. tasty but not the best out there... cool to try it nonetheless.

Contains wheat does this beer, as do a lot of other beers. The wheat is noticable here however, more of a wheat beer than anything else. Not really to my taste. One to leave out.

Bottle at Pig and Whistle in Kyoto. Medium copper color, rather tall white head. Rich caramel malt aroma with strong hops. Quite fragrant. Malt flavor is rather rich, with caramel, though hops balance nicely as well. Rather straightforward, with citrus. Not all that interesting, but good.

Pours a deep faintly hazy orange colour. No head to speak of. Nose is strong citrus notes and a lot of hop bitterness. Flavour is very bitter (as an ESB should be) with a nice backing of toffee malts. There is a nice bit of citrus there too. It is pretty creamy and smooth, but not downright chewy.

Pours a light amber color with a medium head. Grassy, floral aroma with some hops. Very watery, weak taste. Could not taste the wheat. Un-memorable ale, still better than Stella

Bottled An amber coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A predominantly fruity malty beer with a decent body. Better than average for Wychwood with some decent berry fruity hops
