500ml bottle: Amber under a small head. Sweet malty, biscuity aromas with notes of fruit and citrus. Flavours of grapefruit and tart with an underlying hoppiness. Bitter with a weak, watery finish.

Bright orange/red in colour with small white head. Big hop/malt aroma hint of caramel. Big malty flavour, short bitterness. Very pleasant.

Bottle - Hazy orange/gold with white head. Low to medium carbonation. Medium body. Smooth. Malty, sweet and fruity with a hint of citrus . Could not detect much wheat but I had just finished a German Hefeweizen . A light bitterness in the finish. Quite nice.

Orange colour with a very thin off-white head. Thin to medium bodied. Low to moderate bitterness. Slightly fizzy mouth feel. Fruity and malty flavours. Not bad. - 500ml bottle.

Pours a murky orange, minimal head with decent lacing despite head size. The smell is sweet and floral, with a bare hop nose to it. The taste is sweet, smokey, and earthy all at once, with a grainy malt flavor dominating the endtaste. Very bubbly to the palate. An excellent bitter.

Poured amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt. Lots of malt flavor. No hops present. I thought there would be some after reading the bottle but nope. Harsh finish. An easter present.

Bottle. Recommend it. Good aroma. Almost as good as Hobgoblin. Like a 95 % version of it.

While this isn’t quite on par with the best ESB’s out there, It’s far better than the ratings indicate in my opinion. good sweetness, not too malty, a little citrusy... a good esb...
