Bottle @ Republikken, Kolding.
Pours hazy amber with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma is sugary sweet, some caramel and good grassy hops. A bit low in carbonation. Flavour is very well-balanced, good caramel with subdued hops flavours, but good bitterness.

(Bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a medium-sized white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, sweet pickles, and breadiness. Flavor of sweet malt.

500ml bottle-pours a rich light tan head that laces and amber color. Aroma is medium malt, slight hops. Taste is medium malt-caramel, secondary/faint earthy/spice hops. Mellow, nice medium body beer. OK/mild carbonation.

Bottle from sainsburies. Who knows why wychwood is still a brewery, you might expect them to try and make beers now and then. Aroma is, wait for it ...wait...keep waiting...burnt toast, really wasnt expecting that from the burnt toast brewery. Taste is thin overly carbonated, burnt malts hints of grainy malt sna dspice in the finish, but really another pish ale by these guyz.

Lightly hazy, deep golden brew. Small, creamy white head. Decent lacing. Cool looking bottle with an axe-bearing gobblin or troll etched on the shoulder. Too bad the bottle's not brown. The aroma is lightstruck; skunked? Whatever! This beer has been "Assed." It's difficult to pick up on anything in the nose other than skunk ass. The flavor? I really have nothing to say.... flavorless? Pretty tart, lightly bitter and well-balanced on the backside! Other than that... Seltzer! Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Short, clean finish! Thankfully, it's over! I'll never buy this one again.

Sampled on 8/3/06: Clear dark golden bronze pour has a thin ring of white head and a lightly earthy pale malty aroma. Body starts mildly sweet and fairly full with a drier, more crisp bittersweet finish. True to style and very drinkable.

clear reddish-amber colour, few foam, light hoppy nose, tangerines, tart and full-bodied, dry and slightly acidic fruity finish - some complexity but I am not a fan of it

Sweet with a syruppy body and light on in flavour. I couldn’t really get into this one.
