Pours golden with a white head.
Aroma and flavour is sweet, with some malt, fruit and spices.
Not very interesting. SimonPatrice (312), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 10, 2003 Golden, quickly dissipating head. Skunkiness masks the roasted malt. The flavor is more perfumy, somewhat floral. Lightly bitter finish. Unfortunately, all of this is built on a watery base. greenmanalishi (299), Leicestershire, England

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2009 Light amber in color. Small head that leaves nothing behind. Smell is of honey, malt, some spice and hops. Flowery taste with a nice malt and bitter balance. Great taste but the palate was a bit thin. Kind of watered down. Overall decent beer though. floydian1 (296), FNQ, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 6, 2009 500ml bottle into pint glass. Appears with a hazy amber body and a smallish off white head showing good retention and lacing. Nose is faint caramel, oranges and light floral hops. Palate is medium bodied and smooth with a light fruity hop bitterness to the finish. Rather lacks the malt base and hop presence of the best English bitters/ESBs in my opinion. Pricey Down Under as well. andyhite (293), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 4, 2007 it’s not bad. amber haze pour with slightly below average head that recedes rather quickly, revealing an oily film residue. the aroma is best described on the bottle: earth (grass), tart citrus (touch of grapefruit), and a well-balanced hop/malt aroma that is mirrored in the flavor. it’s a bit more malty than i had initially expected. i’ve hit that trend lately. i need more hops. it’s a short finish, and perhaps thin. it’s good, but i’d like to taste it on draft to compare. i’m guessing it’s a bit hoppier.
